Child Safety & Community Safety Guidelines

Reelage is committed to building a safe, respectful, and inspiring digital stage where creators can express themselves, discover opportunities, and connect with a global community. Protecting children, young users, and the community at large is our top priority. These guidelines outline the standards and safety measures that govern all activity on Reelage, in compliance with international regulations including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act – USA), GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation – EU), the Information Technology Rules (India), and equivalent frameworks worldwide.
1. Child Safety Commitment
Our Promise: The safety and well-being of children and young audiences is our highest priority. We provide a secure, positive, and educational environment where talent can thrive responsibly.
1.1 Zero Tolerance for Exploitation
Any content that depicts, promotes, or attempts to exploit children in any form is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate legal authorities without exception.
1.2 Age Requirements and Age-Appropriate Access
- Users must comply with the minimum digital age requirement of their country (e.g., 13 years in the USA under COPPA, up to 16 in parts of the EU under GDPR, 18 in certain jurisdictions).
- Accounts identified as being created by underage users will be restricted or removed.
- For users under 18, additional restrictions may apply, including limited access to certain features and stronger content filtering.
1.3 Privacy of Minors
- Reelage does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information from minors without appropriate parental/guardian consent.
- All data handling follows global standards (including GDPR and COPPA) with strict measures to protect minors from data misuse.
1.4 Parental Awareness and Controls
- Parents and guardians are encouraged to monitor children's activities on the platform.
- Reelage will progressively introduce parental guidance features to help manage screen time, privacy settings, reporting preferences, and account controls.
2. Prohibited Content (Platform-Wide)
To protect children and the wider community, the following content is strictly prohibited:
- Hate speech, racism, or religious/political extremism and propaganda
- Sexual exploitation, nudity, pornography, or other adult material
- Violence, graphic injury, gore, or content glorifying abuse
- Promotion or depiction of drug use, alcohol abuse, or self-harm
- Content encouraging suicide, eating disorders, or unsafe challenges
- Misinformation, impersonation, fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
3. Content Moderation & Enforcement
3.1 Detection and Review
- Content is screened using AI-based detection alongside human moderation.
- Flagged or reported content is automatically hidden pending review.
3.2 Escalating Enforcement
- First violation: Formal warning
- Second violation: Temporary suspension of account (7 days)
- Third violation: Permanent ban
- Severe violations (e.g., child exploitation, credible threats of violence, sexual abuse content) result in immediate permanent bans and referral to law enforcement.
4. User Reporting & Appeals
4.1 Reporting
- Users can report posts, comments, messages, or profiles using the in-app reporting system.
- Reports involving child safety or imminent harm are prioritized and escalated.
4.2 Appeals
- Users may appeal moderation decisions within 7 days of notification.
- Appeals must be submitted to info@dupleit.com with relevant details and evidence.
- Appeals are reviewed by a specialized safety team; decisions will be communicated via email.
5. Community Standards
We encourage all members of the Reelage community to:
- Treat others with respect and support fellow creators
- Share authentic, original, and creative content
- Provide constructive feedback and avoid harassment or bullying
- Celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and cultural expression
- Report harmful or unsafe activity to help maintain community safety
6. Regional & Legal Compliance
- Users are responsible for complying with the laws of their respective jurisdictions.
- Duple IT Solutions will comply with valid legal orders and cooperate with law enforcement when required.
- International child protection standards, including the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child), inform our safety framework.
7. Education & Awareness
- In-app prompts and educational campaigns promote safe digital behavior for creators and audiences, especially minors.
- We will publish safety resources that guide guardians/parents on online safety best practices and account controls.
8. Data Protection & Privacy (Minors' Data)
- We minimize data collection and retain only what is necessary for platform functionality and safety.
- We do not sell minors' personal data.
- Requests to access, rectify, or delete a minor's data can be submitted by a verified parent/guardian to info@dupleit.com.

9. Law Enforcement & Emergency Cooperation
- Reelage may preserve and disclose account information when legally required or when we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect children or prevent imminent harm.
- We cooperate with child protection agencies and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws.
10. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these guidelines to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. Material updates will be communicated via in-app notice or email, with the effective date shown at the top of this page.
